1/8cupfresh cranberries, plus a few more for garnishes
1/2teaspoonground ginger
1bay leaf
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a medium-sized pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer, partially covered, for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cranberries will pop as they cook.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve into another pot or whatever you are serving the cider in.
Ladle into mugs, and enjoy hot. Garnish each mug with one or two fresh cranberries.
