A few fresh sprouts, watercress stems, arugula leaves, or the like

How to Make a Perfect Jammy or Hard-Boiled Egg
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the egg into the water and cook at a low boil for 7 minutes for a jammy egg, or 9 to 11 minutes for a hard-boiled one, depending on how dry you like it.
Transfer into an ice bath for a minute or two to stop the cooking. Peel and halve (jammy egg) or quarter (hard-boiled).
For the Avocado Toast
Toast the bread and spread with a nice amount of butter.
Top with sliced avocado. You may want to mash it in a little, or leave it in elegant slices. Season with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and a couple twists of black pepper.
Get creative: Top with the egg slices, seeds, seasoning spices of choice, greens, vedge (if using), and a drizzle of olive oil to finish.
